Epidemiologist with interest in Tuberculosis and HIV co-infection. Worked as a scientist with Ifakara Health Institute for 9 years in Tuberculosis Research Group. Her work involved evaluation of new TB diagnostic tools, vaccine and drug trials and epidemiological studies on TB and co-infections especially among children under the age of five and has over 10 publications in the field.
Passionate about philanthropy, has worked with others in various charitable community work to provide healthcare to the needy.
